First Impressions: Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Collection

Hey Lovelies,

I was very kindly sent some goodies from the Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners collection, and whilst the collection is still new I thought that I would do a first impressions review so you can get shopping!

The first product is the Exfoliating Soap, which comes with instructions to lather onto wet skin and rinse off. I have used this a couple of times to exfoliate my body in the shower (particularly on my legs where I tend to get dry skin) and so far I am really impressed. The exfoliating beads within the soap are quite rough compared to others that I have used in the past but personally this is what I look for in a body scrub because I feel like it’s doing a better job at removing any dirt/ dry skin. That being said, if you have uber sensitive skin then you may want to consider something a little softer.

Next I received the Intensive All-Purpose Balm, to be used religiously on dry skin. As soon as I saw this I was eager to try it on three places: my knees, my elbows and that weird little part of your foot which false tan always sticks to awkwardly (very well articulated, I’m sure you’ll agree…). So, I’ve been using the balm on these areas and I can already see a visible difference, particularly on my knees and feet. The balm does what it says on the tin in terms of texture, and although it doesn’t soak in quickly it isn’t greasy. I did also try this on my lips but now I’m thinking that it’s not necessarily meant for the lips as I didn’t have the best reaction.

Finally is my favourite product from the collection, the Ultra- moisturising hand therapy hand cream. If you know me, you’ll know that I love a good hand cream; it’s so important to protect your hands as they’re one of the first places to show signs of ageing if not looked after, and they’re often one of the first things that people notice about you. For that reason, I always have hand cream in my bag or within reach, and let’s just say, I’ve found my new on-the-go hand cream. Not only does this product smell lush, but it feels super moisturising, it soaks in quickly and it’s not greasy at all. To me, these are the perfect features of a hand cream.

I hope you have enjoyed this post, and if you do check out the Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners collection then please do let me know what you think!

Thank you so much for reading,

Alex xoxo
