Liverpool Life: NARS Beauty Counter Goodness

Hey Lovelies, long time no speak!

Today’s post is the first in a new segment of The Lipstick Lady, all about life in Liverpool. I’ve been thinking of doing something like this for a while; this city boasts some of the best Beauty, Fashion and Food that this country has to offer and it seems a shame for me not to talk about it.

Jumping right into the Beauty that Liverpool has to offer, I want to tell all of you beauties about the new NARS counter in Beauty Bazaar by Harvey Nichols! This counter is twice the size of the old one, with more spaces for appointments, better lighting and a much more chic and open feel to it.

As you all already know, NARS is one of my favourite brands anyway but they’ve really outdone themselves this time. I recently visited the counter to have my makeup done by the gorgeous Cherelle and to discover some products from the new collection. It’s safe to say I wasn’t disappointed. My makeup was incredible (although I didn’t manage to get a good photo, my selfie game was weak AF that day) and the new collection is S T U N N I N G.

I picked up one of the new limited edition Unfiltered I Cheek Palette; the bold colours were calling out my name and once that beaut red shade was on my cheeks, I could not resist! I also got the new Ciang Mai eyeshadow duo and a Matte Multiple which I have used everyday since I got it… definitely my new fave contour product.

For those of you wondering, an appointment at the NARS counter costs £40, £35 of which is redeemable on products (treat yo’ self) and you get a glass of Prosecco to sip on whilst you’re having your makeup done; it’s totally luxurious!

And if all of this wasn’t enough to persuade you to give the counter a visit, the lovely ladies who work there are all, well, lovely! No seriously, they’re so friendly and chatty that you’ll feel right at home, whether you’ve got skincare concerns, makeup questions or you just want a treat, these gals know exactly what they’re talking about, which is especially reassuring if you’re new to makeup and need a bit more TLC!

Basically, I haven’t got a bad word today about the NARS counter at Beauty Bazaar, and I hope that the next time you’re in the city centre you go in for a nosey and have a good lil’ shop.

Thank you so much for reading

Alex
