I don’t know about you lot, but I for one am over this horrible winter weather with its dark and cold mornings. My mind is ready for the Summer! But unfortunately I live in the U.K. where Summer is usually three scorching days around Easter followed by a solid month of rain… #tragic. However, just because the sun isn’t shining yet doesn’t mean you can’t get a beautiful summer glow with the help of one of my fave products, Liz Earle’s Sheer Skin Tint Bronzing Fluid.
If you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know that Liz Earle is my all time favourite Skincare brand: their Cleanser, Toner and Moisturiser are my Holy Trinity. So when I was very kindly sent this a while back to review I was ecstatic, confident that my fave Skincare brand wasn’t going to disappoint when it came to makeup products. And I was right; this product is incredible.
I love that’s is so versatile. You can apply it on top of your foundation, mix it with your foundation or use it to contour with (you don’t need a lot for this particular use!) and I find that it gives such a healthy summer glow, especially on days when I’m feeling extra drab or am looking for a bit of extra glam!
But this product doesn’t have to be restricted to winter use. On the rare occasion that the sun does come out in the UK, I prefer to keep my face as covered and protected as possible and the same applies when I go abroad (wrinkles = not on the agenda). Usually, this would mean buying a darker foundation just to fit the summer months (sigh) or having a face that’s 2 shades lighter than your neck (a sin) but I’m sure this would be the perfect product for deepening your foundation in these circumstances.
The consistency of this product is quite thick in comparison to some of the other liquid Bronzers I have tried, but don’t let that put you off; it’s super lightweight and easy to blend, especially when you use a trusty Beauty Blender to dab it out!
As for the colour, even at my palest I’m not the palest (if that makes sense) and I find that this is the perfect colour for my skin tone, giving a natural glow. That being said I recommend playing around with it to find the right amount for you… as with any Bronzer, too much can lead to an orange glow instead of a beachy glow!
I would class Liz Earle as a high end brand but I find that their products tend to be on the lower end of the scale when it comes to price; they’re not quite drugstore but you won’t be paying £60 for your cleanser, ygm?! This product comes in at £24.50 for a 40ml tube (price taken from the Liz Earle website) and I think this is definitely reasonable considering that you only need a small amount and given the quality of the product.
Basically, I LOVE this product and I want to give one of you babes the chance to try it too! If you would like the chance to win this product, make sure you head over to my Twitter (@thelippielady) and see my pinned tweet for deets!
As always lovelies, I hope you have enjoyed this review! I am going to be in Rome next week so I won’t have any blog posts going live but you’ll still be able to keep up with me on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, and I’ll be back with more posts the week after!
