So today I wanted to tell you about some AMAZING makeup brushes that I have been loving lately from Crown Brush UK! I was very kindly sent these a few weeks back, and now that I’ve used them, washed them loved them I’m ready to share my thoughts with you!
I have 6 brushes to tell you about, so I think it’ll be best to talk about each one individually. And because I am amazing (and modest, too) I’ll even leave the link to each brush with my thoughts about it, so that you can have a little shop (Treat yo’ self gurlll). The only thing I will say overall is that all of these brushes wash beautifully. I use shampoo and lukewarm water and they come up gleaming without falling to bits, and they all dry back into perfect shape!
C406 Large Duo Face Brush: This is by far my favourite brush in the collection, so I’ve decided to start with it! As a beautifully soft duo fibre stippling brush which is perfect for wiping off excess powder after baking, and for blending your makeup together to avoid any harsh lines. One of the main reasons I love this brush is because it doesn’t soak up a lot of your product and get all clogged up (for lack of a better phrase!) and so it doesn’t get as dirty as some of my other brushes. I know a lot of brands to brushes like this one, and I’ve used a couple of them but I can honestly say that none of them have compared to this. And the best bit? This little beauty is only £9.99! Like what you see? Shop it here
C405 Contour Blush: Let me start by saying that even though this is meant to be a blush brush, it has fast become my favourite contour brush. Previously, I was using my KVD Shade & Light brush to contour with (which I still love, FYI) but this is just a bit thicker and I find that it fits the contours of my cheeks better, giving me a more natural contoured look. Once again, this is super reasonably priced at £8.91and for such a good quality brush at that price, you cannot go wrong. Interested? You can shop this beauty here
SS003 Oval Foundation: This is a flat foundation brush which I use to apply foundation to my face before blending it out with a damp BeautyBlender. This method of applying foundation helps to ensure that you have an even layer of product, and I personally find that my foundation applies better and stays on for longer when I do this. Once again, I know that a lot of brands do this type of brush but I find that they’re often too thick and, well, too expensive! This one is a nice size, not too thick and it only costs £7.73, so if you’re looking for this type of brush, Crown has got you covered.
C437 Pro Dome Blender: Sticking with face brushes, this dome brush is perfect for applying blusher to the apples of your cheeks. I don’t usually like lots of blusher, I’m more of a bronzer gal, but I think in the summer a healthy flush of colour on the cheeks looks beautiful and the shape/ size of this brush allows me to deposit a healthy amount of product without looking like a clown. In terms of price point, this is only £7.94 so once again, I don’t think that you can go wrong!
C433 Pro Blending Fluff: Moving away from face brushes, Crown were also kind enough to send me two of their eye makeup brushes, the first being this beautiful fluffy blending brush! I don’t have a lot to say about this except for the fact that it is perfect for applying transition colours, and blending coloured shadows together. And for only £6.55, you need this in your collection.
C468 Smokey Eye Liner: Finally, we have the best (and I mean best) pencil brush that I have ever used. I always struggle to apply eyeshadow to my lower lash line without getting it all over my face, but this lil’ brush has solved that problem! Not only is the small tip ideally sized for the lower lash line, but the bristles are nice and densely packed so your eyeshadow doesn’t dust everywhere as you run it along the lash line. I literally use this brush on a daily basis and for only £4.29 I definitely want more of these
I’m sorry that today’s post has been a long one, but I love these brushes so much because they’re so reasonably priced and such good quality, I wanted to share them with you in as much detail as possible!
Overall I do highly recommend Crown Brushes and I do recommend that you check out their website– they have such a huge variety of brushes, and they sell makeup too! If you have tried these beautiful brushes, be sure to let me know what you think!
As always, thank you so much for reading
