I recently won two pressed glitters from Glitter Eyes (you can find them on Instagram here) I have been using these non stop since I received them, and so I want to share my thoughts with you all!
I chose the shades Champagne Kisses and Unicorn Wings, the former being a super sparkly gold glitter and the latter being a purple toned iridescent shade. Glitter Eyes do sell a glitter primer but I personally don’t think its needed with the pressed glitters; I used a flat brush (shown below) to pack the glitter onto my lid and it stays in place all day. They also go on beautifully when applied with your fingers, and I love the fact that they’re totally build-able, so you can have a light shimmer or a full heavy glitter!
Personally, I love using Champagne Kisses when doing a black/ brown smokey eye to add a bit of extra glamour. For a more intense look, I pack it on top of a deeper gold shadow, or even a brown shadow for a heavier base. However, this also looks stunning without a base for more of an everyday look.
Unicorn Wings is a lot more versatile. When I initially saw a picture of it, it looked a lot more purple but in real life it is more iridescent and so it picks up whatever colour it is layered over and really makes it pop! I’ve placed it over a multitude of coloured shadows and it looks fab over all of them, but so far my fave combo is with any mint green shadow underneath!
These pressed glitters only cost £5.99 which is amazing value for money. The pan size is really reasonable, and because they’re so pigmented you only need a tiny bit so they’ll last for ages!
I hope you have enjoyed reading about these glitters, be sure to let me know what you think if you try them!
