Sorry I’ve been MIA for a while, I’ve been so busy but I’m back today with a review of some tanning mousse from Freshly Baked London!
The first thing I have to talk about with this tan is that it comes in a variety of different scents so you avoid that horrible fake tan smell, which is basically a miracle! I chose the tan that smells like Baby Powder (because who doesn’t love the smell of baby powder?!) and the scent lingers on your skin all throughout the development period of the tan.
Moving on to the development period, you can leave this tan on for 4 hours for a healthy glow and 8 hours for a deeper tan. I love the deeper tan look because it’s not orangey on my skin at all but please note that it is dark so if you have paler skin it may be worth starting with the healthy glow and building up to the deeper tan!
I use my BeautyBlender Body Blender to apply this tan and it goes practically flawless (a little patchy around my feet but that was my fault and nothing to do with the actual tan!). It does recommend on the bottle that you apply this with a tanning glove but I feel like I have more control with the body blender because I can see where I’m putting the tan and it eliminates any possibility of streaky-ness!
Possibly the most important thing I want to talk about is how this tan comes off. It’s all well and good if a tan applies smoothly but there’s nothing worse than a tan going all patchy when washing it off. Thankfully this tan gradually faded off as flawlessly as it goes on… Can I get an amen?! This is the first tan I’ve ever used that doesn’t come off in horrible patches!
Unfortunately I don’t have any before/ after photos of me using the tan because I always apply it of an evening but I am going to be documenting it on snapchat and Twitter next time I use it, so make sure you follow me thelippielady on those platforms to see my before, after and how I apply the tan!
I hope you have enjoyed reading this review, I seriously love this tan and am desperate to try the other scents! Be sure to let me know what you think of this product if you’ve used it.
Thanks so much for reading
